Strategic Planning & Performance Design

Most strategic plans don't achieve the intended results. My engagements are built differently. If your business is starting from scratch we start with a focused Sprint of eight structured sessions, completed within a matter of weeks, not months. I work with your leadership team through the full arc of strategic planning: honest current-state assessment, external analysis, multi-year vision, priority diagnosis, and execution structure. Every session produces a usable output. Every output connects to metrics. Every metric connects to a named owner. The goal is never to create a binder. It is to create a plan the organization can act on the day it is delivered. What you walk away with: • Current-state assessment and SWOT analysis • Multi-year strategic vision with success indicators • Priority diagnosis; the three to five factors most limiting forward progress • Initiative roadmap with SMART goals and named owners • KPI framework with measurement cadence assigned • Your complete strategic plan documented and ready for leadership and ownership communication Following the Sprint, quarterly advisory sessions keep the plan on track: honest progress reviews, KPI check-ins, and priority recalibration as real-world conditions evolve.

Organizational Alignment for Execution

A plan only delivers results if the organization is structured to support it. This is where most planning efforts quietly break down. Not in the strategy room, but in the months that follow, when daily operations reassert themselves and strategic priorities lose ground. If you have a plan that's not working this engagement is a perfect place to start. Inviting me into your team allows me to work alongside leadership to find the organizational conditions hindering the plan from getting results. That means reviewing the operating model for structural blocks to goal achievement, examining the org chart to ensure accountability flows appropriately to the strategy, and conducting personnel and team assessments to surface gaps in capacity or capability that could stall execution. Where leadership development needs are identified, such as communication, feedback, accountability, boundary-setting, I design and deliver targeted training that builds the behavioral skills required to execute the plan, not generic programming disconnected from it. This is the work that makes the plan stick.

Strategic Performance Measurement

You have a strategic plan, but other than financials, you're lacking data. Many organizations have goals without knowing which indicators track them. Dashboards that report activity rather than progress, or metrics that were designed for operations rather than strategy. The result is a leadership team that is busy, well-intentioned, and flying blind. This engagement begins with a diagnostic: a structured assessment of your current strategic plan and measurement systems. What are you tracking? Are you tracking the right things? Do your metrics connect to your strategic priorities or are they measuring what's easy rather than what's meaningful? From there I build what's missing: the KPI architecture, leading indicators, and review cadences that turn your existing plan into a living, trackable framework your leadership team can actually use to make decisions. If your plan exists but execution feels invisible, this is where we start.
